With a wide weighing platform measuring approximately 25cm wide and 20cm long you can take the weight of different objects such as parcels, boxes, letters, tubes, packages and envelopes. Built into the platform is a helpful parcel holder, which folds out to provide support for large envelopes, unstable parcels and tubes - without compromising the accuracy of the reading.

The digital postal scales are compatible with both mains and battery power, the included mains cable can be plugged into a power supply or 2 x AA (1.5V) batteries can be installed. This allows the device to be stationed or moved freely depending on your personal requirements. Selectable functions include

• Unit - for selecting one of four weighing units; grams, kilograms, ounces and pounds
• Hold - press to keep the reading on the screen when weighing larger items which may restrict your view
• Tare/Zero - sets the display to zero, this is perfect for weighing items in a container allowing you to gain an accurate weight of the contents
• ON/OFF - powers the digital postal scales on and off, however auto power off will also turn the device off after two minutes to save power
