Uno

For an amazing 50 years, Uno has been a card game that just about everyone in the family can play. The object is simple get rid of all your cards before everyone else. Match the number, colour, or type of card to play; use a wild if you don't have a match, or draw from the pile until you get a card you can play.

Points and winning

Each of the cards has a points value, and when you go out first you get all the points from the cards left in your opponents' hands. Then, shuffle and deal a new round. The first player to 500 points wins the game in standard Uno rules.

In the Giddy Goat household we keep it simple and just play til we have used all our cards so the winner is the one to place their last card down. But only if they remembered to shout 'Uno' when down to one card!
