If you're a big footie fan you'll know that the Premier League fixtures for the 2022/23 season were released at the end of last week. The season kicks off on Friday August 5th 2022 and ends on Sunday May 28th 2023, and games will halt in the middle of the season to accommodate a winter World Cup for the first time.

What's new for the 2022
/23 season?

Aside from a winter World Cup bringing the season to a stop half way through, the biggest change on the horizon is the return of five substitutes to the Premier League, which comes into effect from the start of the new season.

When does the transfer window open and close?

Premier League clubs were officially able to register new players from Friday 10th June and will remain open for just under 12 weeks before closing on Thursday 1st September.
