  If you have a pond size of 1 x 2 x 1m (L x W x D):
  Liner length = 1m + (2 x 1m depth = 2m) + 50cm overlap = 3.5m
  Liner width = 2m + (2 x 1m depth = 2m) + 50cm overlap = 4.5m
  Total Liner Required = 3.5 x 4.5m (4 x 5m liner)
